| A picture based on a Kazakh folk tale about human unselfishness and self-sacrifice. Poor peasants find a treasure in the desert. They want to buy the desert precious fruit-trees to make the desert green. However, on their way to market, they buy instead some birds to set them free and to prevent them from ending up at khan's table. The peasants are rewarded for their magnanimity. At night the birds bring seeds of rare plants and in the desert a magic orchard, an oasis for all good and just people, is created.
